Applications

  • ITCE 471 is an elective course for CE students at the University of Bahrain.

    DSP

  • ITCE471
This course covers the basic techniques of digital signal processing that are fundamental to a wide variety of application areas.
    It includes:
The basis of discrete-time signal, discrete-time system, theory and implementation of Fourier and Z transforms algorithms, and the design and implementation of digital filters.
This course will make use of MATLAB as an analysis, design, and visualization tool.

  • Artificial neural networks are, as their name indicates, computational networks which attempt to simulate, in a gross manner, the networks of nerve cell (neurons) of the biological (human or animal) central nervous system. This simulation is a gross cell-by-cell (neuron-by-neuron, element- by -element) simulation. It borrows from the neurophysiological knowledge of biological neurons and of networks of such biological neurons.
This course aims to introduce ANN and explore its applications using MATLAB and C++.
