Applications
ITCE 471 is an elective course for CE students at the University of Bahrain.

- ITCE471
This course covers the basic techniques of digital signal processing that are fundamental to a wide variety of application areas.
It includes:
The basis of discrete-time signal, discrete-time system, theory and implementation of Fourier and Z transforms algorithms, and the design and implementation of digital filters.
This course will make use of MATLAB as an analysis, design, and visualization tool.

Artificial neural networks are, as their name indicates, computational networks which attempt to simulate, in a gross manner, the networks of nerve cell (neurons) of the biological (human or animal) central nervous system. This simulation is a gross cell-by-cell (neuron-by-neuron, element- by -element) simulation. It borrows from the neurophysiological knowledge of biological neurons and of networks of such biological neurons.
This course aims to introduce ANN and explore its applications using MATLAB and C++.
